City Heights World Cup
About
Since 2016, we have been providing youth and adults in MidCity San Diego with the opportunity to compete in a fun and affordable soccer tournament. The City Heights World Cup was created by local youth in City Heights and has been supported by community members each year. The purpose of our tournament is to create community, develop individual and team skills, and empower youth for the future. Over the past 7 years, City Heights World Cup has grown into having 20 teams compete each year, over 25 nations represented on the teams, and more than 300 people in attendance at each event. Through our partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses, CHWC has truly become a local World Cup and is an anticipated event within the community.
